A teacher who has been reading my books with her students for several years (at least 8!) shared this photo of her copy of RED stuffed with notes. I think she might know my books better than me now! I should also probably send her a backup copy for when this one falls apart…
Thank you to all the teachers who share my books with your students! I’ll never stop being amazed at how many readers have found my books, and so much of that has to do with teacher and librarians who put my books in the hands of students. ❤️❤️❤️
Adorable child gave me this bouquet of cherry blossoms at a school visit.
Absolutely no regard for personal space but at least he doesn’t stink or make annoying sounds. I’ll take it.
I thought I was buying 5 bananas, but it was really 5 BUNCHES of bananas, so now I have 15 pounds of bananas, and 3 of my neighbors will now get one bunch of free bananas. There’s a story math problem in there, but I’m allergic to math. I give you the right to use my lack of attention to detail while using Instacart for your math lessons.
When I was little, I would get so mad if anyone called me cute.
“I’m not cute!” I would say. “I’m pretty!”
This kid gets it. I feel seen.
It also reminded me of a poem my mother had me and my siblings memorize when we were kids. So I share it with you. It’s nice to be pretty, but it’s more pretty to be nice!
I love it when I get to stay at unique B&Bs when traveling. They are so cozy and charming, with just the right amount of hauntedness. The door opened on its own when I unlocked it. Very hospitable ghosts.
Scott said if anyone asks who his favorite author is, he will say Dav Pilkey with a totally straight face, no hesitation. It’s a joy to listen to their laughter. @dav_pilkey
I really want a fireplace, but I can’t have one, so I buy lots of candles. If my next post is a pic of my house ablaze, just know it was in the pursuit of joy.
Breaking: I figured out how to like winter. #islandparkidaho #twotop
My sister had this mug made for me! Aaaaahhh! I love it so much!!!
